Supporting animals charities is very important to me. Last year I was able to make Taylor Swift and her Cats mugs to benefit Liberation Cat House. This year I want to do something bigger like raising more money for both cats and dogs. A Fun Mug Giveaway seemed like the perfect way to achieve this goal, its like a raffle but not a raffle because those are considered gambling ;p For every $100 donated I will include an additional mug up to 5. So that means 5 winners . And to ensure that all the money does towards the charity, the shipping and/or retrieving of the mug will be at the winners expense ($8-20 depending on location). Each chance to win a mug will be $5. You can donate larger sums and each $5 increment will equal one chance. For example, if you donate $40, then you will have 8 chance. There are many wonderful and deserving charities but these are the ones I have chosen because I am familiar with their work and people within their organization. Here they are in their own words:
Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) is a progressive animal-welfare focused organization that enforces the Orange County Code to protect both citizens and animals.
OCAS is the only open admission shelter in Orange County, which means that it does not turn away any animal and accepts all animals, regardless of their temperament or health. The health and well-being of the animals in the care of OCAS is of the utmost importance to Orange County and its community.
Most animals are ideal candidates for adoption, yet some come to the shelter suffering from long-term and profound health problems, as a result of being homeless, stray or abused. On average, the shelter receives approximately 50 animals each day, but these numbers can double during peak summer months.
Liberation Cat House, We are a non-profit organization that exists to save the lives of at-risk cats and kittens in the Central Florida area. This is primarily done through fostering those that are sick and/or medically needy until they are healthy and old enough to be placed in a forever home.
We believe that saving more lives can be accomplished through educating others on the importance of spaying and neutering as well as through safe and effective trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNvR) practices.
We live by the conviction that compassion for animals applies to all species, not just cats.
Pooch and Poodle Rescue of Florida, We are an organization that saves dogs that truly need help. We rescue the “leftovers” from animal control, the dogs nobody wants because they’re older or suffer from neglect, abuse or have a medical need. Their “last” day becomes the first day of their new life. We provide the veterinary care they need, a foster family they love and when they’re ready, we adopt them to a family who cherishes them. We do not have a physical location because every dog lives with one of our foster families. We are all volunteers so your tax-deductible donation goes directly to help the dogs. We have saved over 6,200 dogs since 2008.
If you cannot pay through Zelle please reach out to me do not send through PayPal to potheads. There’s are fees and taxes that will come out of the money.

2. You can donate to me directly by using this Zelle QR code or use my email address potheadsbyamber@gmail.com I will split the donations made directly to me evenly between the three. Be sure to include name and email address or email separately, please double check that all entered are correct.
The advantage to donating directly to me is that my employer will match my donation up to $1000*****
***** I have worked at Starbucks for 10 years and an added benefit is that our donations and volunteer time is matched every year.
